No! Experience in sales or logistics is preferred, but not required! Everyone we hire goes through our training class and we will teach you everything you need to know to succeed.
We check the MC# on various websites linked to the FMCSA/SAFER website. This gives us a snapshot of the carrier and gives us information like, how long they've been in business/trucks/drivers/inspections/ and if they are a broker or asset based. It will also tell us their safety rating and if there are any negative reports against the carrier. After we check this aspect and they pass the initial requirements we give them our set up link with RMIS (Registry Monitoring Insurance Services) which then vets them again based on insurance and additional compliance aspects. We then regularly audit our carrier partners to ensure we have compliance with all our needs.
Maintain minimal amounts of insurance as depicted on our RMIS onboarding website, in addition to having completed our carrier application form.
We ship pretty much anything and everything with little limitation. The only things we won’t ship are livestock, ammunition, bottled spirits, food stamps, lottery tickets, currency, tobacco products, cell phones, contraband, fine art, explosives, full automobiles, and precious metals.
